Dress Code

ATTIRE

General:

Members are responsible for informing their Immediate Family and guests of Club dress requirements. All Members, their Immediate Family and guests must dress in a fashion befitting the Club’s refined surroundings and atmosphere. No blue denim after 6:00 PM is permitted on any Club premises. Hats and visors may not be worn inside any Club facility, except they may be worn at The Market, the Wellness & Fitness Center and the Beach Club Terraces. All hats and visors, when permitted to be worn, must be worn forward at all times, including during sports activities and while at the Wellness & Fitness Center. Appropriate footwear is required on the Club’s premises, except in the pool area and on the beach.

Beach Club

Before dinner service, casual and relaxed attire for men may be worn, but shoes and cover-ups are required. For dinner service, traditional collared shirts and golf shirts are required for men. All shirts should be tucked in, except that “camp shirts” with equal length hem designed to be worn untucked (or similar shirts) may be worn untucked.

Women’s attire must be appropriate for the occasion and time of day. Shoes are required for all. 

Golf Club

Jack’s and Jack’s Terrace
Before dinner service, golf and tennis attire is acceptable. For dinner service, for men, traditional collared shirts and golf shirts are required. All shirts should be tucked in, except that “camp shirts” with equal length hem designed to be worn untucked (or similar shirts) may be worn untucked. Mid-length Bermuda shorts are acceptable. Women’s attire must be appropriate for the occasion and the time of day. Shoes are required for all.

Wine Bar, Wine Bar Terrace and Oak Room
For men, sport coats and slacks are required for gentlemen (ages 12 and older) after 6:00 PM. Ties are not required. Sport coats are not required during the months of May-October.

Women’s attire must be appropriate for the occasion and the time of day. Shoes are required for all.

The Market
Casual and relaxed attire all day is acceptable.

West Clubhouse

Traditional golf attire is acceptable at lunch and dinner.

Men:

Slacks or mid-length Bermuda style shorts, collared shirts tucked in or turtlenecks tucked in are appropriate. Blue denim is not permitted.

Ladies:

Golf dresses, skirts, slacks, and mid-length shorts. Golf polo/knit style shirt with collar (shirt may be sleeveless) are appropriate. Blue denim is not permitted.

Tennis and Squash:

Traditional tennis whites (90%)  - including shorts, skorts, skirts, shirt and socks are required to play on all tennis and squash courts. Tennis-specific shoes are required to play on all tennis and squash courts.

Pickleball:

Golf, tennis, or fitness attire is appropriate.Pickleball/tennis specific shoes are required.

Croquet:

Traditional croquet whites and flat-soled shoes are required.

Both Genders:

Sleeved shirts (for men), running shorts, gym shorts, sweatpants and biking shorts are appropriate.

Females:

Sleeveless shirts and yoga pants are appropriate. No bra tops or tops that expose midriffs are permitted.

Aquatics:

Aquatics. Proper swimwear is required. For women, thongs, G-strings, Brazilian bikinis and the like are not permitted. For men, swim briefs, racing briefs and the like are not permitted, except when the pool is reserved for lap lanes (7:00 -10:00 AM). For both genders, swimwear deemed too revealing by Club management (in its sole discretion) is not permitted, nor is denim. Babies are permitted in the pools only with swim diapers.
